Rohde & Schwarz has enhanced its R&S FSUP spectrum analyzer/phase noise tester with signal analysis capability for wireless standards and a removable hard drive for use in secure environments. One of its kind, it is now available with signal analysis functionality for mobile communications standards, including Bluetooth, GSM, 3GPP, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000, and 1xEV-DO. Consequently, according to the supplier, this allows it to become a single-instrument solution for developers and manufacturers of mobile radio components and equipments. In addition, it can now be equipped with a removable hard drive that allows all data to be removed from the instrument for enhanced security in aerospace and defense applications.
