SDK Accelerates Augmented Reality Integration

Wikitude says its ARchitect Engine-based software-development kit (SDK) puts users on the fast track to integrating Augmented Reality platforms in their mobile designs. Grounded on technologies like HTML and CSS, it provides the ability to define GeoObjects, Drawables, and various interaction triggers, i.e., field of vision and clicks. Residing on top of a camera view, an Augmented Reality JavaScript framework embedded in an HTML Web view allows users to control objects in the camera view. Employing the SDK, Augmented Reality View now supports integration into third-party apps. Available now in a trial version, the SDK is available for download for both iOS and Android devices at www.wikitude.com/developer/sdk/download. Full versions will be available soon for licensing. Developers of non-commercial projects can integrate the SDK free of charge. For more info on the architecture, visit www.wikitude.com/developer/architect.
