Customizable SoCs Add FreeRTOS Support
Microsemi’s SmartFusion customizable system-on-chip (cSoC) devices add support via FreeRTOS, a scale-able real-time kernel for embedded systems. FreeRTOS is viable for commercial apps, free of charge, and has no requirements to expose proprietary code. Users have access to a broad range of operating systems and communication protocols for deployment on SmartFusion cSoCs. For more info, visit www.actel.com/products/smartfusion/default.aspx and www.freertos.org.
