Broadband amplifier is versatile
Stealth Microwave’s model SM0825-40 is an 800 to 2500 MHz solid state gallium arsenide (GaAs) amplifier designed for multi-purpose use in wireless applications. With 1.7 GHz of bandwidth, this small amplifier module is suitable for most wireless applications. It provides 39 dB of linear gain, +40 dBm of output power at P1dB, and an OIP3 of +50 dBm. The gain slope over the full band is just ± 0.75 dB. Plus, it comes standard in modular form with six thru-holes. Other features include features mis-match protected single power supply, over/reverse voltage protection and thermal protection with auto reset. In addition, the amplifier offers forward power detection, logic on/off control and integral heatsink. Operating on +12 V supply at 5.5 amperes, the amplifier is also available as a laboratory unit and 19” rack unit.
