LNA IC provides four channels

The MD3880 from Supertex is a four-channel LNA with a variable gain amplifier (VGA). The IC features very low current (0.35 pA/√Hz) and voltage (0.74 nV/√Hz) noises and linear-in-dB continuous variable gain control.

The IC has fully differential inputs and outputs that deliver a high common-mode noise rejection ratio. It also includes a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with four discrete gain settings. The output of the LNA is fed directly into the VGA, eliminating the need for an external coupling capacitor.

The MD3880 is available in an 84-lead BCC+ package (MD3880B2-G). Samples are available, with pricing at $12 each for the MD3880B2-G in quantities of 1000.
