Thick-Film Attenuators Reach 40 GHz

International Manufacturing Services, Inc., a supplier of resistive products such as thick-film resistors, terminations, and attenuators, has announced the availability of the IAX Series of surface-mountable thick-film attenuators for applications through 40 GHz. The attenuators are supplied in six standard sizes with a power rating to 15 in the 3725 package size. Attenuation values range from 0 to 70 dB in increments as small as 0.5 dB. The attenuation accuracy of these 50-ohm components starts at +/- 0.2 dB, with platinum-silver terminations available in both WA and SG styles for solder or epoxy attachment.
