To accelerate the adoption of the latest mobile standards, Cadence Design Systems offers a unique protocol and memory model verification IP (VIP). Collaborating with system and semiconductor companies as well as standards bodies, the company is delivering VIP early, in some instances before the final specification. The expanded VIP supports LPDDR3, MIPI CSI-3, MIPI Low Latency Interface, USB 3.0 On-The-Go, Universal Flash Storage, eMMC4.5, eMMC4.5, and cJTAG. The emerging memory models and protocol VIP will be available this month as part of the Cadence Verification IP Catalog. The offering also ensures open support for all third-party simulators and design methods including UVM, OVM, and VMM.
