Acuity Mobile Plans To Present Harris Connect Mobile At CASE Summit 2009
Harris Connect Mobile (HCM), an advanced content delivery solution, will be developed by Acuity Mobile. Designed for the alumni association marketplace for Harris Connect, it is the first to use the Acuity Mobile v6 platform. It will appear for the first time at CASE Summit 2009, and will be released to membership groups as a world-class mobile communication platform, according to Acuity.
Harris Connect’s partnership with Acuity Mobile has broadened Harris’ products to include mobile marketing. Some of the v6 platform’s features include dynamic Web link creation, application navigation specific to a user’s profile, and segmentation and user location. Common business regulations preside over a common content library with sophisticated text, wireless application protocol (WAP), and application offerings to guarantee consistency, says Acuity.
“For nearly 50 years, Harris Connect has been a leader in the marketing solutions field, constantly evolving to enhance their capabilities across channels and mediums,” says Alan Sultan, founder and president of Acuity. “This partnership presented an opportunity for us to join forces with the top player in a vertical market, leveraging the Acuity platform to create a unique and disruptive solution for Harris Connect’s already stellar portfolio of offerings.”
Kurt Worrell, the senior vice president of consumer sales and marketing at Harris Connect, plans to hold a presentation titled “Adopting a Mobile Strategy” at CASE Summit. He added, “This additional layer to our portfolio must be robust and cutting-edge, as mobile will become a critical component to alumni communication and engagement strategies. Our decision to team up with Acuity was based on the flexibility, innovation, and low operating cost of the technology platform.”
