Racal Instruments Devises UMTS Standards Wall Charts

Racal Instruments Inc. has devised a set of wall-charts summarizing the UMTS Layer 1 technical standards as a reference guide. Originally developed by Robert Robinson as an internal five-sheet summary, Racal is now making the reference guide available to the industry as a wall-chart.

Since it is often difficult to visualize how all of the standards' elements — published in several 3GPP documents — fit together, or remember all the details, the five summary diagrams provide a detailed reference guide showing the complete end-to-end flow of signal processing.
