Product Line Supports Complete LTE Infrastructure
Continuous Computing has introduced what it says is the first set of comprehensive products that address the 3GPP LTE wireless standard. The end-to-end offering spans the complete range of LTE network infrastructure, from the Home eNodeB to the EPC.
The product line includes a complete portfolio of Trillium protocols, ATCA platforms, DPI software, and expert professional services. Trillium LTE protocol software—including Diameter, S1-AP, eGTP, GTP, MAC, PDCP, RLC, RRC, and X2-AP—supports LTE Femtocells, macro/pico LTE basestations, and each of the network elements within the EPC.
All Trillium LTE protocols comply with the latest 3GPP-defined LTE specifications. They also are multithreaded for optimized performance on multicore/multithreaded processors. And, they include reference applications for relevant LTE interfaces.
The company additionally builds upon its industry-leading Trillium 3G Femtocell portfolio to deliver Trillium LTE Femtocell software that addresses the constraints and special requirements of home basestation equipment, which is particularly important for network equipment providers targeting rapid deployment of new infrastructure for near-term LTE trials.
