LitePoint's TrueCableT kit measures the loss of cables used in precision wireless test setups, such as channel emulation. Once the measurement is performed, and the file saved, it can be incorporated into any of LitePoint’s IQfactT automated test programs. The calibrator allows chipset vendors, original-equipment makers, and manufacturing-quality-approval groups to achieve optimum test accuracy.

The TrueCable Calibrator consists of an RF unit that is attached to an IQview or IQflex one-box tester VSG port. Used in a production or characterization setup, the instrument helps perform an accurate measurement of cable loss for a given attenuation. In addition to the RF unit, the kit includes an external power supply, adapter, software CD with program and example code, and comprehensive user guide.
