OpenET Alliance Name Members, Updates Interface Spec

The OpenET Alliance has announced its initial members and released an updated interface specification for envelope tracking in cellular terminals. Named members include Altair Semiconductor, Anadigics, Huawei, Maxim, Nujira, Sony, and the University of Florence. The updated interface specification for terminals includes recommended system noise specifications to support full-bandwidth Long-Term Evolution (LTE) signals. In addition to the envelope tracking interface specifications, the OpenET Alliance, through its systems working group, is developing a common system simulation model to ensure that all participants share a deep understanding of system issues that underpin specification and design choices. It is expected that this will lead to earliest delivery of effective components and products.
