When coupled with its wireless USB adapter, wireless USB mini card or half mini card on the host side, the device embedded card hardware and associated software provide a complete, highly-integrated, end-to-end certified wireless USB solution.

According to WiQuest, the reference design kit includes hardware, software, schematics, layout source files, detailed bill-of-materials, design manual, manufacturing test solution, user's guide and a quick-start guide. The software package includes complete device wire adapter (DWA) driver/firmware to enable a standard USB peripheral to be transformed into a wireless USB peripheral. It also includes a Microsoft Windows-based utility which supports device discovery, field upgrade functionality, and comprehensive diagnostics.

The device embedded card is available now for integration in wireless USB devices, said WiQuest.
