Low-noise YIG-tuned oscillators cover broadband
Micro Lambda Wireless, Inc. has announced the production release of YIG-tuned oscillators covering the 6 to 20 GHz range.
Three models in the new MLX”O” series, providing excellent phase noise performance covering 8-18 GHz, 6-18 GHz and 8-20 GHz ranges, are now available, said the maker. Using new SiGe transistors, these low-noise units are available in three standard package configurations 1.25-inch cube, 1.75-inch cylinder and 1-inch cube. They provide +14 to +15 dBm power output levels and operate over the 0°C to +65°C commercial temperature range. Extended temperature models are available for the 1.25-inch cube and the 1.75-inch cylinder packages, according to Micro Lambda Wireless.
Target applications include analyzers, generators, receivers, radar ESM, ECM and frequency synthesizers. Availability is four weeks from receipt of order, the supplier said.
