Wireless Tester Handles All Required LTE Testing

As the basis of AT4 wireless’ LTE test products line, the E2010 Broadband Wireless Test Set supports the whole range of testing required to bring a product to market. The set provides a consistent hardware and software approach throughout the whole product life cycle, from early development and integration to conformance testing for device certification.

The E2010 incorporates flexible eNodeB emulation capabilities plus parametric measurements in one box. This allows support for both RF and protocol testing in the same platform. The test set’s hardware architecture creates a multi-RAT platform that integrates dual radio interfaces, a real-time physical layer and channel emulator, and a 3GPP-compliant Rel-8 protocol stack. It includes support for MIMO 2-by-2 (future 4-by-4) and multiple cell emulation in one instrument.

The architecture was designed to be expandable to enable the instrument to handle future requirements. An independent implementation of the physical layer and protocol stack (together with the direct involvement of AT4 wireless engineers in the development of the LTE standards) ensure a prompt integration of any future changes and evolutions into the E2010 and its associated testing applications.
