Broadband relay attenuators offer low-cost solution
Amplical has released a new family of broadband high-accuracy relay attenuators. The model 50MAP1.2 is a DC to 2 GHz attenuator featuring 0.1 dB step size resolution. This unit is suitable for fine amplitude adjust in broadband systems.
Additional features include total attenuation of 1.2 dB with step sizes 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.6 dB, insertion loss of less than 3.0 dB and an incremental accuracy of ±0.1 dB. The average power handling is 1 W, and control is via +12 V at 14 mA per bit. Connectors are SMA(f), and delivery is from stock. Also available are models featuring additional attenuation and different frequency ranges.
