TRAK Microwave, Tampa, Fla., has introduced a new synthesizer design used in airborne defense applications. The synthesizer features high-speed switching at less than 500 nanoseconds, step size as small as < 1 Hz and wide frequency coverage.

The model SYN146 typical electrical specifications include step size at 33 kHz, spurious of -60 dBc typical, harmonics of -50 dBc maximum and accuracy at +/-60 ppm in all outputs.
