The Anritsu MS2711E Spectrum Master handheld spectrum analyzer boasts interference analysis and AM/FM/PM measurements as well as a touchscreen interface with shortcut icons and intuitive menus.

Anritsu’s latest Spectrum Master handheld spectrum analyzer, the MS2711E, adds interference analysis and AM/FM/PM measurements to its repertoire, which also includes occupied bandwidth, adjacent channel power ratio, emission mask, and field strength. It comes with a touchscreen interface providing easy to use shortcut icons and intuitive menus (see the figure). Options include the interference analyzer, channel scanner, power meter, and GPS receiver. Trimmed for field use, the MS2711E weighs less than 3.5 kg, and its battery life is greater than three hours. Other features include an operating temperature from –10°C to 55°C, a 100-kHz to 3-GHz frequency range, displayed average noise level greater than –142 dBm in 100 Hz RBW, dynamic range in excess of 85 dB, and a frequency accuracy  of less than ±50 ppb with GPS. The MS2711E costs $6950.
