Tunnel Diode Detector Spans 0.5 To 18.0 GHz

Krytar has introduced its model KDT0518 planar tunnel diode detector for applications from 500 MHz to 18 GHz. It features typical tangential signal sensitivity of -50 dBm and can handle maximum input power of 50 mW CW. Supplied with SMA female connectors, the detector offers frequency response that is within 1 dB and exhibits video capacitance of 100 pF. It boasts typical pulse risetime of 5 ns and has negative output polarity in standard units, although detectors can also be supplied with positive output polarity.
