Switch filter amplifier offers wide bandwidth

Lark has readied a new switch filter amplifier series (SFA) in both ceramic and lumped element configurations. This new series offers wide frequency (100-3000 MHz) and bandwidth (1% - 40%) ranges, with a typical return loss of 18dB (typical)/14dB (minimum) .

The SFA series features noise figure of 1.5-5.0 dB (typical) with 300 ns switching speed. Gain is 10 to 40 dB, while it requires a bias voltage of +10 VDC. Nominal impedance is 50 Ohms. Number of channels offered include 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. The SFA series is aimed at receiver applications and improvement of overall system performance.
