Design Environment Fosters Next-Gen Wireless Designs

The Agilent Technologies SystemVue 2011.03 system-level design environment validates multiband, high-transistor-count wireless IC designs against current communications standards. Agilent’s GoldenGate and SystemVue environments connect in two ways: via a fast circuit envelope (FCE) model or direct envelope-level co simulation. Recently added FCE models execute 1000 to 100,000 times faster than the original RFIC physical designs with no loss in accuracy. They can also account for frequency- and power-dependence, frequency translation, multiple ports, and internal nodes. SystemVue 2011.03 adds several baseband verification libraries that integrate naturally into the IC verification flow enabled by GoldenGate as well.
