Micro amplifier suits military radios
NuWaves Engineering’s μ-HILNA high-intercept low-noise amplifier features small size (outside dimensions: 1.00 in. x 0.75 in. x 0.50 in.) and light weight, making it well suited for space-constrained applications, such as military radios. Features include operation from 5 Vdc to 12 Vdc, with current consumption of 83 mA. Frequency range is 50 MHz to 1500 MHz, and VSWR across this range is from 1.3:1 to 2.0:1. For the same range, RF gain is 22 dB to 16 dB, and the noise figure is 0.76 dB to 1.15 dB. The unit is available now.
