Oscillators Promise Stable Frequencies To 40 MHz
The Connor-Winfield Corp. has unveiled lines of oven-controlled crystal oscillators (OCXOs) and voltage-controlled OCXOs (VCOCXOs) for applications requiring frequency stabilities of +/-0.05 to +/-0.25 PPM at output frequencies from 6.4 to 40.0 MHz. The oscillators are designed for operation at +3.3 or +5.0 VDC with LVCMOS or HCMOS outputs. Available stabilities are +/- 0.05, +/- 0.10, +/- 0.15, +/- 0.20, and +/- 0.25 PPM. The stable oscillators are available in both RoHS-compliant 14-pin dual-in-line packages (DIPs) and 14 x 20 mm surface-mount packages and can be supplied in tape-and-reel format for use with automated assembly equipment. The oscillators feature low jitter of less than 1 ps and can be specified for use at temperatures from 0 to +70°C or -40 to +85°C.
