The Agilent N6783A-MFG mobile communications dc power module offers advanced features specifically for testing battery-powered (mobile) devices in manufacturing.

Latest additions enhancing Agilent’s N6700 Modular Power System (MPS) family include the N6783A-MFG mobile communications dc-power and the N6783A-BAT battery charge/discharge modules. The N6783A-MFG packs sourcing and measurement capabilities for testing mobile devices during manufacturing (see the figure). The N6783A-BAT offers basic two-quadrant operation for charging and discharging batteries. N6783A-MFG features include a reliable voltage transient response, digitizer, up to four outputs, and USB, LAN, and GPIB interfaces. The N6783A-BAT’s two-quadrant operation allows it to act as a power supply charging the battery or as a load to discharge it. The N6783A-MFG and N6783A-BAT cost $1240 and $1450, respectively.
