Aethercomm Model Number SSPA 1.2-1.4-500-RM is a high-power, rack-mounted L Band solid-state power amplifier (PA) that operates over the 1215 MHz to 1400 MHz radar L Band. The peak RF power is 55 dBm minimum. Power flatness across the entire band is ± 0.5 dB typical. Minimum small signal gain is 54 dB. Input VSWR is 2-to-1 maximum. The output VSWR is 2-to-1 maximum, and the noise figure is 10 dB maximum. Harmonics are -30 dBc maximum.

This amplifier offers a manual PA turn-on and turn-off command that enables and disables the internal PAs. RF pulse rise and fall times are 50 ns maximum. This model operates from 240 Vac, 50 Hz to 60 Hz, single phase power from the infinite bus. Other ac and RF power options are available on consultation with the factory.

This rack-mounted assembly is offered in a standard 19-inch rack that is 3 u high. The input RF connector is N-type female. The output RF connector is N-type female.
