Tektronix has unveiled its latest family of compact RF and microwave power sensors and meters, which the company claims to provide some of the industry’s fastest measurement speeds. The instruments cover a wide frequency range and provide extensive power measurements from basic average power to pulse profiling. Fully calibrated over their entire operating-temperature range, the PSM RF-power meter series includes the PSM3000, PSM4000, and PSM5000 USB-based power sensors and meters. Depending on the model, they suit a broad range of continuous wave (CW) and pulse modulation measurements and come with Windows-based power-meter application software for control, displaying readings, and recording data. PSM Series power sensors feature what Tektronix calls the industry’s fastest measurement speed at 2000 readings per second. Other PSM series features include a wide dynamic range from -60 dBm to +20 dBm and frequencies ranging from 10 MHz up to 26.5 GHz. Prices start at $2590.
