Ultra-flat Schottky detectors have small form factors
RLC Electronics’ miniature ultra-flat detectors utilize a zero-bias Schottky design. The microwave power is coupled directly to the components, reducing package parasitics and transition mismatches. This design results in a very low VSWR, as well as a flat, smooth output over a wide bandwidth. Options available include negative or positive output, a choice of three output connectors, and operation to 26.5 GHz or 40 GHz.
Typical sensitivity for input power below 30 dBm is 0.5 mV per μW. The operating temperature range is from –55 °C to + 100 °C. The device is available with SMA-female, BNC-female, and SMC-jack connector types.
