SPARQ Network Analyzer Family Expands
The SPARQ series signal-integrity network analyzers from LeCroy now includes eight- and 12-port models, enabling characterization of crosstalk in multi-lane differential structures. LeCroy notes that the eight- and 12-port models cost a fraction of less capable vector network analyzers (VNAs). For example, the price of a 12-port SPARQ-3012E is similar to a four-port VNA. Users can measure a complete 12-port S-parameter matrix in both single-ended and mixed-mode representations with the click of a button. The resulting S-parameters characterize the near-end (NEXT) and far-end (FEXT) crosstalk between as many as three differential lanes. All SPARQ models integrate an OSLT calibration kit that allows rapid calibration without using error-prone external devices. As a result, users can complete a full 12-port S-parameter measurement in approximately 30 minutes. Prices for the 12-port SPARQ-3012E and eight-port SPARQ-3008E are, respectively, $149,990 and $99,990. For more info, go to www.lecroy.com/sparq/.
