Upgraded Receiver Tester Handles All Technologies
Two significant enhancements are featured in version 4.2 of Averna’s RF test platform, the URT. The addition of the RF Library Player to the Record & Playback and Signal Generator systems makes the URT a more flexible tool that automakers, receiver manufacturers, and semiconductor OEMs can use to efficiently test their RF products. Version 4.2 also expands the URT’s footprint for the latest digital radio and video protocols with pre-recorded test file libraries and software toolkits for DAB, DAB+, DMB, DVB-T, ATSC, and Sirius overlay.
URT 4.2 also offers nanosecond synchronization for dual-channel RF recording applications such as phase-diversity receiver testing, as well as enhanced tools for easier calibration and configuration of the URT Record & Playback system. In addition, a GPS Constellation Simulator that was previously available as an add-on has now become a fully integrated toolkit.
Averna has partnered with technology leaders to create compact tools that remain ahead of the RF signal convergence curve. As a result, the company’s line of Universal Receiver Tester hardware and software solutions enable RF device manufacturers to efficiently generate, record, and play back all common radio, video, and navigation signals in use today.
